‘Twas the Night Before Christmas’ | Keurig

By Dana Routhier

We hope you enjoyed some time off with your family for the holidays. Our blog server apparently did to, otherwise, you would have been treated to this updated classic in a more timely manner. And so without further ado, may we present ‘Twas the Night Befo–er…After Christmas. Keurig style.

‘Twas the night before Christmas and all through the house,

Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.

The stockings were hung, the tree happily lit,

Our brewer well-stocked with a merry assortment.

Santa’s journey is long, and we knew he’d be ready,

For more than a cookie in his bowl full of jelly.

Why only have milk for such an esteemed crew?

Each gift is unique, and your cup should be too!

The kiddos were nestled, all tucked in their beds,

Visions of deer sipping cocoa a-swirl in their heads.

When suddenly I heard a great noise on the roof —

The prancing and pawing of each little hoof.

Such a commotion made the jolly man’s sleigh,

As Santa and Reindeer all called our their faves:

Now Gingerbread, now Hazelnut now Lake & Lodge.

On Cider! On Latte! Espresso and Eggnog!

To the top of the porch, to the top of the wall,

Brew a cup of Dark Magic, let’s brew one and all!

May your holidays be filled with family, friends, and good cheer!

Have a Happy New Year, too!
