We have been busy at the Train Station so we’re here to catch you up on our past two months!

A Spotlight on Marcia Sweet

If you’re a Waterbury, VT resident, it’s likely that you’ve heard the unforgettable voice of our own Marcia Sweet on WDEV Radio as she urges you to “make the Train Station your destination.” Marcia is a dynamic member of the Visitor’s Center, as well as the Café team, and this month, we would like to let you get to know the woman behind the radio ad a little better.

Marcia has worked at the Green Mountain Coffee® Visitor’s Center and Café for seven years, and during this time she has developed a comprehensive knowledge about coffee. Some may call her an expert when it comes to explaining the extensive “source to cup” process. Marcia plays a prominent role at the Visitor’s Center by providing guests with coffee information and a fantastic experience during their exploration of the self-guided tour.

Marcia’s favorite aspect of her unique job is meeting people from all over the world who come to the train station. She enjoys sharing all she knows about coffee and fascinating visitors with new information! Marcia has lived in the Waterbury area her entire life, which makes her the perfect resource for those who are traveling the area.

When Marcia isn’t working, she enjoys sewing, reading, and sipping on a Maple Supreme from the Visitor’s Center and Café.

We hope you’ve enjoyed this glimpse into the vibrant life of Marcia Sweet. Stop by the Green Mountain Coffee® Visitor’s Center and Café and you may be lucky enough to meet her yourself.

Pumpkin Spice and Everything Nice

Pumpkin Spice coffee has returned to the café just in time for fall. As the seasons begin to change, the Train Station ambassadors prepare for the swarm of customers who are eager to try our delicious autumn inspired drinks.

The Maple Supreme, one of our most popular drinks year round at the café, can be ‘spiced’ up this season with the creamy pumpkin spice flavors of autumn. By incorporating the pumpkin spice coffee, with a hint of maple, this drink exudes the feel and flavor of fall

Another fall favorite at the café is the Sweet Pumpkin Supreme, a drink that delicately combines the flavors of pumpkin spice with a swirl of caramel. Trust us, there’s nothing better on a brisk fall morning then a warm pumpkin spice beverage!

Stop by the Green Mountain Coffee®  Visitor’s Center & Café and let us warm up your day with the wonderful flavors of the season!
