Super Green Tea Smoothie

We’re saving the best for last in our “Eat More Veggies” recipe series — seriously. This smoothie is as green as it gets, but the picky eaters of the world STILL gulp it down like it’s a chocolate milkshake. Spinach for the win!

Super Green Tea Smoothie

2 cups fresh spinach (or any other leafy green you have a glut of!)

1 K-Cup® pod The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf® Jasmine Green Tea, brewed on the 8 oz. setting, cooled to room temperature

1 cup water

1 cup frozen mango

1 cup fresh pineapple

2 ripe bananas

Tightly pack 2 cups of leafy greens in a measuring cup and put it in the blender. Add the cooled green tea and water and blend until all the leafy chunks are gone. Add mango, pineapple, and bananas and blend again until smooth. Serves 2.
