Hoping these adorable little peanut butter acorns get you into the spirit of Fall! Share them with friends during your Halloween party alongside your favorite beverage of choice, coffee, cocoa, hot tea, all of which can be brewed easily and deliciously in your Keurig®brewer!

INGREDIENTS

¾ cup smooth natural peanut butter

¾  cup sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla

1 large egg

1 tablespoon flour

½ cup mini chocolate chips, divided

48 chocolate kisses, wrappers removed (or more if you’re like me and unwrap one, and eat one!)

DIRECTIONS

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Mix peanut butter, sugar, vanilla, egg and flour in a standing mixer. Once combined, use a mini ice cream scoop if you have one and scoop dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.  Try, if you can, shape them into little domes. Bake for approximately 9 to 10 minutes, until they are golden around the edges. Let cool on baking sheets. To make into acorns, microwave ¼ cup of the mini chips in a small heat-proof bowl on high for 30 seconds, stirring every ten seconds or so. Dip the bottom of each chocolate kiss in melted chocolate, and glue to the flat side of each cookie, and do the same for the remaining ¼ cup of mini chocolate chips to the other side of cookie.
