Goodness! Do we have the perfect holiday recipe for you today! 🎅 Totally customizable, incredibly snackable and perfect for gift-giving, so let’s get down to truffle business. Christmas Sugar Cookie Truffles, that is. 🍪 We hope you find time in your busy holiday season to share this recipe with others and whip up a batch for you and your loved ones! ❤️
Christmas Sugar Cookie Truffles
12 plain sugar cookies
¼ cup vanilla buttercream – more or less depending on how large or dry the cookies are
¼ teaspoon kosher salt
2 cups white chocolate chips, melted
Red and green sprinkles
In the bowl of a food processor, pulse the sugar cookies until they become fine crumbs.
Add the salt and vanilla buttercream and pulse until a coarse dough forms that sticks together when pressed.
Using a tablespoon scoop, form the dough into balls and place on a plate or baking sheet and refrigerate for one hour.
In a double boiler over a low simmer, melt the white chocolate slowly, being sure to stir constantly. Once it is melted, remove from heat.
Using a fork or a wooden skewer, dip each truffle into the white chocolate until totally coated.
Before the chocolate hardens, top each truffle with red and green sprinkles.
Refrigerate until chocolate has hardened.
Pair with your favorite coffee, brewed from your Keurig® coffee maker. We thought Green Mountain Coffee Roasters® Cinnamon Sugar Cookie flavored coffee would be the perfect complement to our little bundles of joy!
Cheers and Happy Holidays! 🌲
